Google is bringing the new Fitbit Workout UI to the First-generation Pixel Watch
Early adopters of the first-generation Google Pixel Watch are in for a treat with the latest March Feature Drop, which introduces the new Fitbit Workout UI. This update is designed to provide wearers with valuable insights into their vitals at just a glance. The original Pixel Watch now gains access to the same Fitbit Workout UI that was previously exclusive to newer models, aligning it more closely with the current offerings from Google. Rolled out as part of the March Feature Drop for both Pixel smartphones and smartwatches, this update brings exciting enhancements to the user experience.
The revamped Fitbit Workout UI on the first-gen Pixel Watch offers a visually appealing semi-circular ring display for heart rate zones, replacing the previous cramped layout of multiple stats on two rows. Users can now easily access key statistics by swiping up or down on their devices, providing a more informative and user-friendly interface. The updated UI also includes improvements such as larger pill-shaped buttons for controls like Lock, End, and Pause during workouts, making them easier to tap. Notable additions like Auto Workout Mode further enhance functionality by quickly detecting various activities such as running, walking, cycling, and rowing. While some users have reported issues with installing the update or experiencing glitches post-installation requiring a full reboot of their device for better synchronization.
To install these exciting new features on their first-gen Pixel Watches owners should update their Fitbit app via version 3.19 available on Play Store.
